Selfridges is one of London's leading premium luxury department stores offering over 300 brands to its customer and is a favourite department store amongst many UK and International consumers. Most recently Selfridges has announced the promotion of Alannah Weston from deputy chair to chair of the department store group.

Selfridges also announced in February the ban of exotic skins, having banned the sale of fur back in 2005. The company announced that python, alligator, crocodile and lizard would no longer be sold in its stores from February 2020 and it would only sell leather from agricultural livestock.
