QUIZ

Description:

Founded in 1993, QUIZ is a British clothing label with more than 250 shops in the UK and more than 50 shops around Europe and Asia. The brand focuses on delivering catwalk styles and trends at an affordable price tag. The company launched its online store in 2005 and it plays an important part of their multi-channel operation. QUIZ was admitted to AIM in July 2017 and got off to a strong start and has been continuing its retail expansion, opening on Oxford Street last year.

However it has felt the effects of a torrid retail environment of late and in June 2019 confirmed that its profits had slumped to just £0.2m in the year to March 2019. Total sales, however, were up 12% to £130.8m and online sales were up 32% to £41m for the year.

To offset tough trading the group said it may reduce its third-party online contracts as well as its exposure to UK department stores.
