People Tree

Description:

Established by ethical fashion pioneer Safia Minney in 1991 (Minney is now a non-executive director of the business), People Tree is a British sustainable Fair Trade fashion label.

The brand produces high-quality yet sustainable garments for women that feature organic cotton, TENCEL Lyocell and responsible wool, all of which are made using traditional artisan skills such as hand weaving, hand knitting, hand embroidery and hand block printing.

In 2019, the company launched a collaboration with BBC Earth that include a range of organic cotton t-shirts and tote bags. The "Our Blue Planet" collection aims to highlight the importance of ocean conservation and features some of the oceans’ most loved and endangered species.
