Monse is a premium womenswear fashion brand founded in 2015 by Fernando Garcia and Laura Kim. Both designers were inspired by menswear and classic tailoring with a deconstructed perspective after working alongside Oscan De La Renta for over a decade. In 2016, both Garcia and Kim were named De La Renta’s co-creative directors and debuted their first collection with the fashion house in February 2017.
The brand’s supporters include Sarah Jessica Parker, Cate Blanchett, Amal Clooney, Blake Lively and Selena Gomez to name a few. Monse is famous for its deconstructed pieces paired with stripes – the brand’s signature feature.
