Founded by American designer Michale Kors in 1981, Michael Kors is a premium fashion house and it currently produces a range of products under the signature Michael Kors Collection and MICHAEL Michael Kors labels. The brand sells a wide range of ready-to-wear, accessories, bags and eyewear and the “affordable luxury” Michael Kors handbags have been hugely popular with millennials.
As growth opportunities fo the main brand became less apparent, the company has been transforming itself into a luxury group. It bought Jimmy Choo in 2017 followed Versace in 2018. After closing the deal, the company was renamed Capri Holdings in 2019.
