Established by Tom and Ruth Chapman in 1987, Matchesfashion.com is a London-based global luxury fashion retailer. Its website offers more than 400 high-end luxury brands including Gucci, Prada, Saint Laurent, Alexanxder McQueen and Burberry.

It operates a website and four stores in London, along with a location at 5 Carlos Place, an experiential private shopping townhouse in the heart of Mayfair.

The Chapmans sold the business to private equity house Apax Partners for a stunning £800m at the end of 2017 but remain minority shareholders and ambassadors. The business is headed by CEO Ulric Jerome.
