Established by Enrique Loewe Roessberg in 1846, Loewe is a Spanish luxury fashion house based in Madrid. The company is known for its leather goods, which mainly include bags for men and women along with its ready-to-wear line, accessories and homeware products. The label is owned by the LVMH Group but the manufacture, in particular of its leather products, still takes place in Madrid.
It is headed by British-based fashion designer JW Anderson, who acts as creative director, while still running his own London-based label. The brand is set to open a flagship or "Cash" in London in spring 2019.
