Isabel Marant is a French luxury fashion house launched in 1994 by designer Isabel Marant. The brand is well know for its shoes, worn by many celebrities including Kate Bosworth, Katie Holmes, Anne Hathaway and Hilary Duff. In 2000, the label added the ‘Etoile’ collection, a brand intended to be more affordable and casual than the original.
Collaborations include the Isabel Marant x H&M 2013 collection, which sold out within minutes and caused the retailer’s website to crash. In 2016 Isabel Marant along with Nathalie Chemouny and Sophie Duruflé sold a 51% stake to Montefiore Investment to enable an expansion into other categories including accessories and menswear.
