Launched in 1989, George is now sold in over 500 ASDA stores and through an online ecommerce site.

George has built up a reputation in the UK for quality and value, offering affordable and ethically sourced clothing for the whole family – encompassing menswear, womenswear, kidswear and baby clothing.

In 2004, the George clothing brand was extended to a number of standalone George stores on the high street. However in 2008 all standalone stores were closed due to high rental costs resulting in low profitability.
