Inside Source Fashion July 2025: Future-focused insight and global innovation in responsible sourcing

SOURCE FASHION
16 June 2025

As global fashion continues to navigate economic uncertainty, shifting consumer expectations, regulatory demands, and supply chain disruption, Source Fashion (registration is now open at www.source-fashion.com), Europe’s leading responsible sourcing show, returns this July with its most ambitious and content-rich edition to date.

Running from 8–10 July 2025 at its new home, The Grand Hall at Olympia London, Source Fashion has grown 30% season-on-season and now hosts audited manufacturers from over 25 countries, reinforcing its role as a key platform for sourcing innovation and sustainable production.

The upcoming event is about more than global supply, with the theme ‘Thriving in a Volatile World’, the three-day seminar programme offers bold, practical insight designed to equip brands, buyers, and sourcing teams with the knowledge to lead through change.

Thriving in a Volatile World: A Programme Built for Now

From keynote fireside chats to interactive panels and industry-first debates, the seminar agenda is grounded in real-world challenges, combining strategic foresight with actionable tools.

Suzanne Ellingham, Event Director of Source Fashion says, “We would love to be talking about 2030 goals and the positive steps and impact the industry is making, but the reality is it’s a tough business environment, and many of those goals are secondary to paying the bills. We are living through unprecedented amounts of risk and volatility, and risk is very much BAU now. So, for this show, we’re focusing on what it really takes to succeed in uncertain times—combining practical insight with future-focused thinking. From supply chain resilience to sustainability under pressure, our agenda brings together the voices that matter most to help businesses not just adapt but thrive."

Key content highlights include:

"Finding Clarity from Chaos – Leading with Purpose"

Lynda Petherick, CIO at New Look and NED at British Fashion Council, shares how clarity and agility are shaping the new retail leadership playbook.

"The Business Case for a Post-Growth Model"

Source Debates: Where the Industry Talks Back

Following its successful launch last season, the Source Debates stage returns to spark unfiltered discussion on fashion’s most complex challenges. One standout moment will be Mark Sumner, Textiles Lead at WRAP, asking:

"If We Started All Over Again, What Would It Look Like?"

This provocative session will invite the audience to challenge foundational assumptions around cost, value, and production logic, redefining what responsible fashion could truly mean.

Alongside the content programme, Source Fashion July 2025 will host a diverse international showcase, connecting UK buyers with responsible, audited manufacturers from Turkey, India, China, Sri Lanka, Portugal, Taiwan, the UK, Peru, and emerging African markets.
