Some of fashion's biggest names will be arriving at New York Fashion Week in style next month via Cunard's Transatlantic Fashion Cruise .

Luxury liner the Queen Mary 2 will leave Southampton on 1 September and arrive in New York on 8 September just in time for those on board to take in the SS17 shows. The seven night voyage means travellers can immerse themselves in industry talks, shows and experiences before they hit the American fashion capital.

On board will be leading fashion critic and author Colin McDowell MBE, founder of New York Fashion Week Fern Mallis, the former merchandise director of Saks Fifth Avenue and international fashion consultant Gail Sackloff OBE and British designer Dame Zandra Rhodes CBE, who will host a fashion show on the ship using models from leading agency Storm.

Tickets for the 2016 Cruise are already sold out, however Cunard is now taking bookings for the September 2017 cruise, which will again feature Colin McDowell and Gail Sackloff, while British designer Julien Macdonald OBE will host the catwalk show with Storm models.

Prices for the 2017 cruise start at £1,479 moving up to £4,899 and some ticket types are already sold out.
