Spanish fashion retail group Inditex is "significantly investing" in the Trafford Centre in Manchester, with Bershka set to join ZARA and Pull&Bear – both of which are relocating and upsizing at the centre.

Opening at the end of summer 2025, the three new flagship stores will occupy units on Peel Avenue at the Trafford Centre.

Marcus Briggs, Managing Director and Head of Leasing at Trafford Centre asset managers Pradera Lateral, said: "We have had a great partnership with Inditex over the years and this exciting new deal highlights our wider commitment to support retailer growth and improve the customer experience.

"The introduction of these globally significant stores for Bershka, Pull&Bear and Zara will strengthen this relationship further and provide an unrivalled fashion offer for our growing number of Trafford Centre visitors."

The major new leasing deal with Inditex marks a pivotal moment for the CPP Investments-owned Trafford Centre as it approaches four years since Pradera Lateral was appointed as asset managers.

In that time, the centre has seen over 230 leasing deals and over £120 million in new store developments, including for Gymshark, Lululemon, Rolex, Cartier and Sephora.

The Trafford Centre saw footfall jump 10.3% in 2024 compared to 2023, with almost 23 million consumers visiting the centre. Additionally, sales were up 8.6% on 2023.
