In Pictures: TALA extends sizing to boost accessibility

TALA has extended its sizing to include 2XL-4XL in an effort to boost the accessibility of its sustainable activewear across the UK and US.

Over the next six months, 78% of every new style and colour dropped by TALA will be available in extended sizing. TALA's SkinLuxe and DayFlex collections will be the first to launch in the new extended sizing, available online at TALA in the UK and US from 15 February 2023.

The next four months will also see sizes 2XS-4XL launch across its Sweats, 365 and Swim ranges, as well as some "yet-to-be announced styles".

Grace Beverley, Founder of TALA, said: “When it’s estimated that 67% of US women are plus-sized, and the average size in the UK is a 16, there is absolutely no denying that we are not fulfilling our mission as a brand advocating for accessibility to sustainable options if we don’t cater to nearly half the population.

"Extending our sizing is something I have wanted to do from day one of TALA and a project we have been working on in earnest for nearly two years now. As far as we are concerned, it’s long overdue, and there is no way we will do it perfectly from day one, but I am so excited to take this step towards becoming the TALA we ought to be.”

Founded by fitness entrepreneur and influencer Grace Beverley in 2019, TALA's mission is to create "sustainable and high-performance activewear, without the hefty price tag". With a focus on ethics, sustainability and transparency, TALA's products and packaging are made with upcycled, recycled and natural materials.
