In Pictures: Soeur collaborates with Leandra Cohen

French contemporary womenswear brand Soeur has co-created a capsule collection, based on comfortable chic and the crossovers between menswear and womenswear, with "the most French of all American influencers" Leandra Cohen.

The five-piece Café Leandra collection includes an oversized pink-and-pastel-green striped poplin shirt, a pair of green shantung silk shorts and a bi-material clutch in the same fabric. Wearers can create looks that are designed to work as well on a sandy beach or a city street.

Labels are adorned with a pink flamingo, which has become Cohen's emblem. One of the early influencers, Cohen is known for establishing independent fashion website Man Repeller, based on the concept that women dress mainly for other women. She most recently founded the Café Leandra site, and now writes a fashion newsletter, The Cereal Aisle, available on Substack. 

Of the collaboration with Soeur, Cohen said: “The best collaborations are the most organic ones. I contacted and met the Soeur teams after coming across their site last year, and I could immediately relate to the style and sensitivity of their work. They show the perfect fusion of boyishness and softness that I try to express in my own look.”
