In Pictures: Shoppers brave the weather to shop at London's popular tourist locations

Despite intermittent rain and clouds, shoppers returned to central London today, visiting popular tourist destinations including Seven Dials, Covent Garden and Carnaby Street.

The capital was full of visitors, who are continuing to return to retail destinations after being unable to make in-person purchases at non-essential retail locations since December 2020.

Seven Dials proved to be the winner today out of the three locations visited by TheIndustry.fashion. Queues formed outside retailers seen today such as Urban Outfitters, The Ordinary, Subdued and Tiffany & Co.

Many shoppers also took advantage of the plentiful outdoor dining options available, which helped boost footfall with the overall impression being buoyant with more shoppers present than during the lifting of lockdowns 1 and 2.

On Monday TheIndustry.fashion visited Oxford Street for the first day of retail reopening. Wednesday saw a visit to Westfield Stratford, the 4th-largest shopping centre in the UK.
