In Pictures: Rixo unveils new boutique at Bicester Village
Womenswear brand Rixo has this week opened its seventh store at Bicester Village, designed by Gemma McCloskey, founder of Cúpla Studio and twin sister of Rixo co-founder, Orlagh McCloskey.
The space design was “inspired by eccentric and eclectic English estates”. The considered yet unlikely pairings offer a not too polished and unpredictable characterful space, with a very Rixo “vintage inspired aristocratic flair”.
The new store is offering ‘off-price items’, ready-to-wear pieces from the latest collections, footwear and accessories.
The sell-out Rixo x Dragon Diffusion collaboration is also available to shop, and there are markdown styles from the popular Rixo ‘Bridal’ collection.
The new boutique is described as “an essential part of Rixo’s broader revolve strategy, encouraging circularity of product”.
In a joint comment, Rixo co-founders Orlagh McCloskey and Henrietta Rix (pictured above), said: “We’re so excited to be opening a Rixo boutique in Bicester Village. It’s a wonderful opportunity to reach new audiences and share our commitment to circularity by bringing some never seen before gems, Rixo classics and special pieces to an even wider community. We can’t wait for people to discover them.”
In August, Rixo opened a new flagship store at 199 Westbourne Grove in London’s Notting Hill, as well as a dedicated concession space within Liberty London at 210-220 Regent Street.
Bicester Village, in the heart of Oxfordshire, celebrates its 30th anniversary this year and boasts more than 150 boutiques from British and international fashion and lifestyle brands, offering year-round savings for shoppers.
