As womenswear label Rixo enters its 8th year, the brand has opened a flagship store on London's King’s Road, bringing back its print-led contemporary designs to the historic area.

Rixo's new store replaces its previous location on King's Road and follows the opening of other stores on Marlyebone High Street and Carnaby Street.

Described as a true ‘House of Rixo’, the store features the full Rixo product collection under one roof for the first time, including: ready-to-wear, bridal, bridesmaid and accessories.

The store features multiple initiatives in line with its sustainability journey, encouraging customers to buy less and wear more. One initiative is Rixo Rental, offering customers the chance to rent their favourite pieces for special occasions.

Rixo Rental launches with 26 styles, with prices starting from £39 for a four-day rental, with sizes ranging from a UK 6 – 20. A selection of Rixo Bridal pieces will be available to rent, targeted at sustainably minded brides.

Rixo Pre-loved will provide circularity of product and allows customers to buy Rixo at more of an entry level price point. Customers can bring in old Rixo pieces to the flagship store in exchange for a voucher to spend on a new piece. The pre-loved pieces will then be refreshed and sold in the flagship store at a lower price point than the main collection.

Going back to the core DNA of the brand, Co-founders Henrietta and Orlagh have curated a collection of one-off vintage pieces from around the world. The ‘True Vintage’ products include clothing, jewellery and accessories ranging from accessible to high-end price points.

The new flagship store also has a standalone bridal suite, which can be booked for private appointments. The suite has its own dressing room and will include the full Rixo Bridal and Bridesmaid collection.

Henrietta Rix, Co-Founder of RIXO commented: “Orlagh and I wanted the space to be a true reflection of our style and personalities. We love an eclectic mix of both contemporary and vintage and we feel Cupla Studio has achieved this perfectly.

“The space had to feel like us, all be it a more polished version of our living room that we first launched the brand in. Sustainably was also key throughout the project and we have used left over marbles for the flooring and recycled plastics for our mannequins and VM displays. It’s been our biggest investment to date and as female founders with no investment it’s been a real passion project!”

Customers at the new flagship store can enjoy refreshments while they shop, the Rixo coffee kiosk offers coffees, tea, matcha and hot chocolate in bespoke, Rixo branded, recycled cups, alongside pastries and sweet treats.

The Kudu Collective, a famous, family-run group of restaurants, cocktail and wine bars has also opened their first West London location, The Smokey Kudu Bar within the flagship store.
