In Pictures: River Island reunites with Olivia Attwood for new denim edit
River Island has reunited with TV personality, presenter, and model Olivia Attwood for the launch of a new denim-focused edit.
Shot in a stripped-back studio with minimal furniture, the campaign captures Attwood oozing the confidence that shot her to fame in Love Island and The Only Way Is Essex, dressed in sculptural barrel-leg jeans styled with fitted tanks and sharp-shouldered bomber jackets, and slim-cut jeans paired with oversized tailoring.
There are also relaxed straight-leg styles worn with crisp white tees and statement belts, dramatic wide-leg silhouettes sweeping the floor with pointed stilettos peeping through, and elongating bootcuts with “signature” heels.
Described as “a nod to modern glamour with a subtle Y2K edge” and “statement denim at an accessible price point” (£29-£59), the collection reimagines everyday wearable denim through Attwood’s “distinctly glamorous lens”.

Clean mid and dark indigo washes sit alongside softly faded “vintage” blues, while structured waistlines, considered seam detailing and leg-lengthening cuts are each “designed to flatter, empower and command attention.”
Commenting on the collection, Attwood said: “To me, a great pair of jeans is a technical masterpiece hiding in plain sight. I think we can all attest to the fact that it’s often so hard to find the right cut and fabric. For me, it has always been about the architecture of the fit.

“I’m obsessed with wide-leg styles that have enough structure to feel chic and sartorial, whether paired with heels or flats. Each pair in this collection is unique in wash, shape and style, but they all feel cool and are inspired by some of my favourite designer brands.
“As a 90s baby, I have to say the double denim is my favourite look from the collection. It’s a cult classic and something that will never not be timeless and effortlessly chic. Think Justin and Britney or those iconic Calvin Klein adverts. We’ve gone for that ‘All-American’ blue wash, which feels heritage-inspired but with a modern finish.”
