In Pictures: Rebecca Vallance launches first denim collection
Australian fashion designer Rebecca Vallance, who was a fashion publicist working for brands including Burberry and Gucci before launching her eponymous luxury label in Paris in 2011, has debuted a denim collection.
Best known for sophisticated designs and tailored pieces, the new denim line combines the brand’s signature elegance with a sharp and modern approach to the timeless fabric.
The 15-piece collection has been conceived using premium dark indigo, mid-blue and washed white denim and includes six jeans, four dresses, two jackets, two tops and a blazer, with a focus on tailored fits, relaxed shapes and flattering cuts.

Highlights include sculptural high waist straight leg jeans, tailored flares, cinch-waist fitted dresses – including a button front mini dress and a denim midi dress, a mid length jacket with cocoon sleeves and large collars, and a tailored blazer.
The collection is likely to strike a chord with the long list of star names who wear Rebecca Vallance’s mainline, including Rita Ora, Lady Gaga, Eva Mendes, Hailey Bieber, Paris and Nicky Hilton, Priyanka Chopra, Sienna Miller, Eva Longoria, Molly Sims, Chrissy Teigen, Halle Berry, Sofia Vergara and Kate Beckinsale.

Vallance said: "The denim collection is a natural evolution for the Rebecca Vallance brand. Denim has always been a staple in everyday wardrobes, and I wanted to create pieces that can be seamlessly integrated into our customers' existing collections while still offering the signature sophistication and elevated style that they expect from the brand."
Signature detailing across the collection includes contrast stitching, sweetheart necklines, cinched waists and patch pockets. Prices range from £245 to £490 and the collection is now available globally via the Rebecca Vallance website, as well as all own brand stores.
