In Pictures: Napapijri x Liberty Fabrics
Napapijri, the premium Italian outerwear brand, adds Liberty Fabrics to its slew of collaborations in recent months.
Napapijri’s latest capsule collection uses Liberty Fabrics to re-imagine exploration and travel through two textile designs exclusively drawn from Liberty Fabrics’ archive.
The reimagined archival prints, including magnified wildflowers and patriotic tartan patterns, cover Napapijri’s outdoor silhouettes. These two elements come together to create "a unique look dedicated to creative travelers moved by self-expression and the pursuit of creativity."
Napapijri quote Oscar Wilde famously describing heritage department store Liberty as "the chosen resort of the artistic shopper".
The Napapijri x Liberty Fabrics capsule collection features hoodies and t-shirts, as well as a fun selection of travel accessories including bucket hats, waist bags, and packable backpacks and totes. It is available to shop now on napapijri.com, and in selected Napapijri retailers across the UK and Europe.
To convey the capsule’s unique feel and its connection to the British imagination, the outdoor retailer called upon the London-based photographer Louis Bever. He joined forces with director Louis Lincoln to produce a playful take on British country-living tropes. From manors to scones, from footballs to picnics, through their unique perspective, they frame a series of conversations with three guests from different walks of life, each providing their own take on the meaning of being “out there”.
Guests starring in the campaign are photographer-turned-presenter AZ, singer-songwriter Kwaku, and singer-songwriter Murray Matravers.
