In Pictures: Marella’s new ‘Hero Blazer’ launching for AW26
Contemporary Italian womenswear brand Marella is launching a single-breasted ‘Hero Blazer’ for AW26 with a campaign fronted by model Irina Shayk.
The new signature tailoring piece is the focal point of the brand’s upcoming AW26 collection and is “designed to be worn as a second skin”, combining Italian craftsmanship with “effortless versatility”, making it a true wardrobe investment piece.

A standout feature is a removable scarf, a distinctive detail that “introduces a gesture of lightness into the blazer’s construction”. Crafted in the same fabric as the garment or in a coordinating material, the scarf flows along the silhouette, amplifying its movement and adding a fluid, three-dimensional structure to the design.
The blazer takes shape through various material interpretations that amplify its character. From the most essential version, offered in the timeless shades of black, white and camel, to the velvet variant with a silk habotai scarf embellished with lace inlays, through to the leather version completed by a silk twill scarf.
Model Irina Shayk embodies the essence of the new Marella ‘Hero Blazer’ with her “magnetic presence and intense allure”.

Marella was founded in Reggio Emilia, Italy, in 1971 and is a subsidiary of the Max Mara Fashion Group.
Earlier this year, the brand opened its first standalone store in London at 8 Marylebone High Street. The 1,410-square-foot boutique is designed to reflect a modern Italian aesthetic, combining clean architectural lines with softer, understated elements.
The opening marked a prominent step in Marella’s international expansion, adding to its more than 200 standalone stores. Other recent expansion efforts have included new openings in cities such as Paris and Munich.
Marella’s collections are also available through its website and selected UK retailers, including Harrods, Harvey Nichols and John Lewis.
