Covetable streetwear brand Ksubi opened the doors to its first-ever stand-alone store in the UK on Saturday in collaboration with distributive artist Slawn.

To celebrate the opening of the brick-and-mortar store located at 10 Carnaby Street, the Australian brand will launch a limited-edition collection that was created in collaboration with London-based artist Slawn, which is a testament to the brand’s commitment to champion independent creatives.

The centre piece of the flagship store is a custom sculpture, reinterpreting the signature box-crosses.

The limited-edition KSUBI x SLAWN collection, featuring a character inspired by the one-of-a-kind artwork, is available in the Ksubi London store now and online at KSUBI.com from 15 November at 9am.

Ksubi’s CEO Craig King commented: "London’s been calling us for some time with its buzzing music and arts communities. At Ksubi, we celebrate the triumph of the creative outsider – the rebels doing things their own way and to their own beat. We’ve found our LA and New York stores have become hubs for our crew to hang out and we hope London will be the same."

The brand already has a presence in the UK at Browns and Liberty. In the past three years, the brand’s sales have tripled.

Working in partnership with design consultancy Brinkworth, Ksubi’s new store will celebrate its distinctive spirit through juxtaposing distressed and luxurious materials. As customers enter the store, they’re greeted with a red marble cash desk, contrasting sterile concrete walls.

The brand's VIP customers, such as asA$AP Rocky and Travis Scott, will appreciate the addition of a private shopping space located on the basement level of the store.
