In Pictures: Kickers’ new ‘Kick Hi 75’ campaign by Wavey Garms starring DJ Eliza Rose
Heritage French ‘jean boot’ brand Kickers has today launched a new campaign in celebration of its iconic ‘Kick Hi’ boot – first introduced in 1975 - produced by creative agency and “culture brand” Wavey Garms, and starring DJ and producer Eliza Rose.
The campaign film and imagery “brings five decades of Kickers culture to life” to put the spotlight on a premium upgraded version of the boot, nodding to the brand’s past links to music, style and British youth culture.
Set across a distinctly British high street, the film follows Rose through the people and subcultures that have shaped the Kickers story. Emerging grime star Jayahadadream argues with a Haçienda-era Mancunian raver over which genre reigns supreme, “bringing grime and acid house face to face”.
David Schaal, best known as Jay’s dad in ‘The Inbetweeners’, delivers a string of cockney one-liners from a market stall, while the Brit Boys, soon to be BRIT School graduates, make their campaign debut by performing a TikTok-style dance in the full ‘Kick Hi 75’ collection.
A passing group of schoolchildren nods to Kickers’ place as part of the unofficial uniform of British school culture, before the film moves firmly into its new fashion space.
Outside a club, a group of “indie-sleaze lads” in plimsolls are turned away while Kickers wearers are waved inside – a reference to the days when its shoes offered a way around the once prevalent “no trainers” nightclub door policies.
Featuring further appearances from Rich Evans, Silva Snipa, Sports Banger and more, the new campaign brings Kickers’ past and present together in “one unmistakably British world”.
Reimagined for a new generation, the new ‘Kick Hi 75’ combines the spirit of the original with considered advances in materials, construction and comfort, adding a “more refined and contemporary edge”.
The Kick Hi’s instantly recognisable shape is finished with crisp white stitching, thick white cotton laces and signature Kickers details. Crafted from super soft leather, its updated construction creates a supple, more premium feel.
Beneath its familiar exterior, the silhouette has been carefully reworked from the inside out. An elevated collar with supple sheepskin lining and softer foam creates a more luxurious feel around the foot, while updated reinforcements improve flexibility and comfort without compromising support.
Underfoot, an ultra-hybrid OrthoLite insole combines moulded cushioning with a breathable leather lining to provide “all-day comfort”. The signature moulded Kick outsole completes the construction, delivering superior grip and traction.

Launching in red, black, navy and tan, the collection’s soft, tactile leathers bring natural variation and rich tonal depth to Kickers’ familiar core colours, “creating a versatile palette for autumn and beyond”.
Refinements extend to the finishing details. The classic Kickers fleurette tag has been doubled and finished with subtle debossed detailing, while the black colourway pairs cream stitching with the brand’s signature red and green tabs.
The ‘Kick Hi 75’ launches on 9 September 2026, priced at £120 and available via the Kickers UK website.
