British sailing and lifestyle brand Henri-Lloyd has launched a new SS25 collection, the second to be designed by Creative Director Kestin Hare, following on from AW24 which was the brand’s first foray back into wholesale in its 60th anniversary year.

The new collection builds on the sailing heritage of the brand, with a firm focus on outerwear, including the waterproof and breathable ‘Consort RWR Jacket’ that has fully taped seams, the ‘Freo Heritage Jacket’ – a modern take on the classic worn by America’s Cup champion Dennis Conner, and the ‘Jib Jacket’, made from 100% recycled nylon with 80% recycled Polyester fill.

Hare, who is vacating his Henri-Lloyd position in May after designing his fourth and final collection for SS26 to concentrate on his own eponymous label, said in a SS25 collection footnote: "Digging into the Henri-Lloyd archive and understanding the DNA of the brand, I also came across the ‘Nautique Jacket’, which to me summed up everything about Henri-Lloyd in the summer.

"I was originally attracted to the unique navy and white colour blocking as, for me, this is the epitome of nautical heritage. Henri-Lloyd was one of the first sailing brands to use colour blocking in this way, setting the tone as a look globally.

"I also loved the clever detailing and its rope, compass and crown embroidery on the arm patch. I’ve since collected different variations of this jacket for the archive, with higher levels of detail and extra chest pockets that have been used across the collection.

"This style has spurred on a fresh approach to colour blocking for summer, with sun-bleached fabrication finishes, giving the collection a soft, lived-in, distinctly Henri-Lloyd character."

The new Henri-Lloyd SS25 collection, which also has a selection of t-shirts, sweatshirts, polos and branded rugby shirts, is now being sold at The Hip Store and Mainline Menswear, as well as via the brand’s own website.
