JW Anderson opened a new store at 105-107 Pimlico Road in London on Saturday 13 December, with the brand’s growing home and garden collections sitting at the heart of the store – along with a selection of ready-to-wear, shoes and accessories.

Pimlico Road is renowned for its antique stores, design boutiques and homeware specialists, so the location is fitting for JW Anderson’s new product focus. There is also an emphasis on art.

Echoing the modern-day ‘cabinet of curiosities’ ethos that was reported in July as the new direction JW Anderson was taking, the new store is housing curated fashion collections alongside homewares and artisanal goods under “the very idea of collecting”.

Products are crafted in collaboration with artists and artisans, with a commitment to sourcing skilled craftsmen, the finest materials and enduring quality.

With an emphasis on traceable origins and elevated materials, each piece is designed to stand the test of time, to honour traditional skills and “reflect who Jonathan (Anderson) is today”.

The inaugural art installation presents six sculptural sconces by British artist Kira Freije. Drawing from welding, glassblowing and other craft processes, each piece “bears the physical traces of its making”. The works will be available exclusively in-store until February 2026. Ready-to-wear from JW Anderson’s latest collection, including pieces rooted in local craftsmanship, are shown alongside collaborative objects by international artisans.

Furniture “reimagines heritage techniques through a contemporary lens”, with re-editions of Charles Rennie Mackintosh stools in Scottish oak, and Mackintosh lights to follow. There’s also Jason Mosseri’s ‘Hope Spring Chairs’ and ‘Milking Stools’, Mac Collins chairs and tables, as well as select antique furniture.Tableware includes Nicholas Mosse ceramics, featuring the archived ‘Pig Collection’ and new ‘Shamrock Mug Collection’, handmade Laguna B glassware, Wedgwood Greek mugs and Irish linen tea towels.

Home and Garden accessories range from heritage gardening tools and antique French copper watering cans to JW Anderson x Ernest Wright ‘Antique Stork Embroidery Scissors’.

Additionally, Hillbrush clothing brushes appear in bespoke colourways, exclusive to JW Anderson alongside pearwood frames, hand-forged nails, vintage Christmas ornaments, JW Anderson x Yard O Led pens and pencils, dinner candles crafted by the oldest candle maker in the UK, coffee flavoured tea from Postcard Tea, and bronze ‘Peach Paperweights’ ideated by Jonathan Anderson and Luca Guadagnino.

Textiles extend the language of craft through a collaboration with Polly Lyster’s ‘The Dyeworks’, known for over 25 years of natural hand dyeing. Her antique fabrics have been transformed into cushions, lavender pillows, linen napkins and sketchbooks.

The offering is completed with vintage Welsh blankets, as well as a special JW Anderson Welsh blanket produced by Melin Tregwynt, an historic mill operating since the 18th century, restoring and preserving regional craftsmanship.

The store concept has been developed by architects Sanchez Benton, who have previously realised the new JW Anderson direction in the brand’s Soho and Milan flagships.

The Pimlico Road space is described as “warm and enveloping”, defined by materials that evoke the handmade. Spanning two floors, its layout is shaped by velvet panelling that creates intimate, distinct rooms. The lower ground floor houses a dedicated press and VIP salon.
