In Pictures: John Lewis launches second collaboration with Labrum for SS26
Following on from the debut John Lewis x Labrum collection for AW25 – the retailer’s first menswear collaboration for 10 years – drop two has just landed with 35 pieces for SS26.
Only available online and in five John Lewis stores, on London’s Oxford Street, Peter Jones in Chelsea, Stratford, Leeds and the Trafford Centre in Manchester, the latest collection once again offers a mix of denim, tailoring, co-ords and separates, but this time also introduces footwear, bags and homeware.
Designed for versatility, the overall aesthetic takes on a more relaxed, casual feel, with a focus on texture and detail. Logos and symbols feature heavily throughout the collection, including a bespoke cowry shell jacquard and classic Nomoli and Adinkra symbols, which represent West African culture.
James Hawkes, Head of Menswear Design at John Lewis, said: “Following the incredible success of our first collaboration, we are so excited to be back with a second collection that truly pushes the boundaries of our partnership.

“It was particularly thrilling to see pieces from the range debut on the Labrum runway at London Fashion Week, giving our customers a first look at these designs on a global stage a month before they land in-store.
“We have focused heavily on tactile, bold textures and relaxed silhouettes this season, and expanding into footwear and accessories allows us to offer a cohesive 'total look' that our John Lewis x Labrum customers will love.”

Labrum founder, Foday Dumbuya, added: “For me, this partnership is about the meeting of cultures and craft. Labrum has always told stories through clothing, and working with John Lewis has allowed us to expand that language beyond apparel into objects for everyday life.
“From the Nomoli to Adinkra symbols, each detail reflects heritage, movement and exchange, a reminder that when cultures come together, something beautiful is created.”
The colour palette of the new collection is punctuated with pops of red, while tailoring is softer in neutral tones and denim is reimagined as statement looks featuring patchwork patterns and oversized silhouettes.
For the first time, there are woven leather loafers, an embossed logo leather bag and patterned cushions. These new additions sit alongside returning favourites from the debut collection, such as the bestselling silk scarf, a denim co-ord and a knitted tank-updated in new designs and colourways.
