Contemporary French fashion brand Jacquemus, has joined forces with sportswear giant Nike, for a second footwear collaboration. This time, the leaders in their respective fields introduce the sure-to-sell-out J Force 1.

Designer and Founder Simon Porte Jacquemus built a now cult-favorite brand with the right concoction of style, pricepoint and marketability. After garnering a hefty fashion following, the designer renowned for its itty-bitty Chiquito bags joined Nike to create the Air Humara LX, which was an instant sell-out.

Now, the brands have reunited to create a line of Nike’s iconic Air Forces, but with a twist. Meet the J Force 1

The footwear design, which is described as “a shoe for the dreamers among us”, features a hand-woven modified AF1 upper to the sole. Nike and modern-day surrealist Jacquemus' new design also features luxury touches like an understated metal swoosh.

The J Force 1 will be available exclusively on Jacquemus.com beginning 13 June and across select Nike retail globally on 21 June.

Last year, Jacquemus made waves in London, first with the launch of its experiential "Le Bleu" collaboration with Selfridges and later opening a dedicated boutique in the London department store.

Located in the Selfridges Accessories Hall, the 860sq ft space is set within the store’s monumental Duke Street façade and offers the brand’s Chiquito, Bambino, Baneto, and Pichoto bags alongside a broad selection of other accessories.
