H&M has opened the doors of a brand new retail concept at Manchester's Trafford Centre showcasing a number of new features and services and marking the retailer's commitment to investing in stores outside of London.
The 29,202 sq ft store was opened yesterday (14 April) and features an open façade, removing its windows, which is world-first store design for the global fashion giant. It also includes the hotly anticipated H&M Home, tech-enabled Click & Collect points (pictured above) and self service checkouts.
H&M said the revamp was one of its biggest store investments this year and underscores the importance it places on Manchester as a fashion shopping destination.
Over the course of the Easter weekend, a number of activities are planned including collaborations with local businesses and exclusive access for H&M members.
Toni Galli, H&M UK & Ireland Country Manager, Toni Galli commented: “We are excited to be opening our world-leading H&M Trafford Centre store on April 14th, offering our loyal Manchester customers a brand-new look and feel unlike anything our UK customers have ever experienced. During our launch program, and in the coming months, we are partnering with local creators and businesses in Manchester to support the local community, proving how committed we are to Manchester and delivering the best possible shopping experience for our customers.”
