In Pictures: IKKS Paris opens second UK store

French fashion and lifestyle brand IKKS Paris has opened its second store in the UK at London's King's Road.

The new 1,300 sq ft store features its womenswear and junior lines, with plans for menswear to be introduced at a later point.

Designed to give customers a "premium experience", the store includes a lounge area and complimentary coffee for customers. The location will also feature regular in-store brand activations including style sessions, talks and personalisation.

The store includes UK exclusives and will showcase the brand’s ‘Free the Sea’ sustainable collection, which is created with Sequal yarn, a material made from recycled plastic waste in the sea.

The brand is also known for its signature leather pieces, including biker jackets, bags and combat boots. IKKS Paris’ ‘1440’ handbags, so named as there are 1,440 minutes in a day, will be available in-store in a range of colour and size options.

IKKS Paris was founded in 1987 by Gérard Le Goff and offers womenswear, menswear, kidswear and accessories. Described by the brand, it aims to "embolden urban free spirits around the world to rock lives through creative, responsible, 365-day Parisian easy chic fashion". The brand has 800 stores worldwide.

The news follows the recent opening of IKKS Paris' first UK store on Carnaby Street in London.
