In Pictures: Gymshark unveils New York flagship store
This Saturday, 13 December, marks the highly anticipated opening of the new 13,000 sq ft Gymshark flagship store at 11 Bond Street in New York.
Set over four floors, the store will not only be selling the UK gymwear brand’s ‘Power’ T-shirts, ‘Vital’ leggings, vests, hoodies and shorts, but it also has a training area and a roof terrace where it will hold Pilates classes and more in the summer.
Design features in the store nod to city’s heritage, including bespoke bodegas-style pop-ups – like the carts that sell food, drink and groceries in neighbourhoods across New York – housing exclusive Gymshark Bond Street store merchandise.

Even the cash registers take inspiration from the city, with tills housed in subway car-style installations, while mannequins are 3D-printed versions of both real members of the Gymshark community and its athletes, Chris Bumstead and The Bronx’s very own Analis Cruz. There are even specially crafted ‘pizza’ weight plates dotted around the store.
The third floor features a dedicated space for community activations, whether that’s panel talks, athlete meet and greets, live podcasts or Q&A sessions.
Gymshark has upped its presence in New York over the past 18 months. In June 2024 it opened its US headquarters on Greene Street. In September 2024, Gymshark hosted its biggest ever event, Lift:NY, which saw over 7,500 members of the fitness community descend upon Pier 36 for a weekend of lifting, training with friends and “meeting heroes”. Then, in October 2025, it opened its first permanent US store in Roosevelt Field Mall, Long Island, New York, set over 4,000 sq ft.
Mitch Healey, Retail and Wholesale Director for North America at Gymshark, said: “In the entirety of Gymshark’s existence, two things have remained constant - the gym, naturally, and community. I don’t think any city in the world places as much importance on community quite like New York.
“So, when it came to opening our flagship here, we really wanted to honour that. The store has really been designed with two things in mind. Firstly, when you walk through the door you know immediately that you are in a Gymshark store and, secondly, you feel the community vibe that this city is so famous for. We’ve done a lot of cool stuff in New York, but I’ll be honest, it’s all been leading to this. I cannot wait!”
Gymshark is also bringing its bespoke 1-2-1 shopping service to the new store, where aspiring lifters and athletes can ensure they are kitted out in the best gear to help them achieve their fitness goals.
Earlier this month, Gymshark opened its second permanent store in Dubai at The Mall of Emirates, set over 5,000 sq ft, adding to its first location at The Dubai Mall.
