In Pictures: Gap teams up with A.P.C. for new collaboration collection
Gap and Parisian fashion brand A.P.C. have teamed up for a new collaboration spanning menswear, womenswear and accessories.
The 39-piece collection, reduced to 34 pieces for the UK, launches on 18 September, with prices ranging from £25 to £245. It will be available on Gap’s UK website and at its Covent Garden store in London.

The collection takes inspiration from the brands’ archives and the 1960s, drawing on cinema, music and art from the era. Denim is a key part of the range, combining A.P.C.’s focus on denim with Gap’s long-standing presence in the category.
Selected menswear pieces, including a denim jacket and relaxed straight jeans, are made from Japanese denim and priced at £150 and £120, respectively. Womenswear includes the High Rise Stride and Low Rise ’90s Loose jeans in 100% cotton rigid denim, alongside a shaped denim jacket with an archive-inspired lining.

The wider collection includes tailoring, Oxford shirts, outerwear, knitwear and accessories, with sailor stripes, utility details and matching sets appearing across the range. Cashmere, wool and corduroy are also used across selected pieces, while some fleece hoodies and accessories feature a reworked Gap arch logo.

Mark Breitbard, President and CEO of Gap Brand, said: “Every collaboration we pursue begins with a shared vision. We were drawn to A.P.C. because of their distinctive Parisian perspective and commitment to timeless essentials. We’ve brought that point of view together with Gap’s heritage of modern American style in a way that feels authentic to both brands.”
A.P.C. founder Jean Touitou said the collection was about finding a balance between dressed-up and casual clothing.
“For me, there is a chic way to be casual and a casual way to be chic,” he said. “The research of that balance is at the heart of this collaboration, which brings the concept of ‘sheer casual’ to life.”
He added: “Gap and A.P.C. both aim to achieve authentic, familiar, well-made clothes that can become pillars of your wardrobe. Friendship and shared cultural affinities between America and France are also at the root of this project, which both our teams enjoyed exploring in a very natural way.”

The collaboration will also be accompanied by The Long Way, a short film directed by Karl Cannone and styled by fashion image consultant Alastair McKimm. Shot in Paris’s Montmartre neighbourhood, it stars American rapper ian and French DJ Paloma Le Friant.
A.P.C., which was founded in Paris in 1987, has previously collaborated with brands including Lacoste and Asics. Its 2025 collaboration with Asics included tenniswear, footwear and accessories, while its 2022 partnership with Lacoste reworked the sportswear brand’s crocodile motif across clothing and accessories.
The Gap x A.P.C. collection launches at 2pm BST on 18 September and will also be available across Japan, Europe, Turkey, China, Mexico, Australia and the Middle East.
