In Pictures: Gap and Summer Fridays return with Valentine's-ready second drop
Gap is extending its partnership with cult beauty brand Summer Fridays, unveiling Part 2 of the duo’s apparel collaboration as the retailer continues to lean into lifestyle-led products to connect to a wider audience.
Launching on Friday 16 January 2026 at 6 pm GMT, the second drop introduces 14 new styles, priced between £30 and £70, and will be available online at Gap.co.uk and in two London stores - Covent Garden and Westfield White City.
Building on the success of the first capsule released in December, the new edit shifts into a more romantic, Valentine’s Day-ready direction, while staying rooted in the comfort and self-care positioning that defined the original launch.
The collection arrives in Summer Fridays’ signature tones - Pink Sugar, Cherry, Vanilla and Jet Lag Mask blue -reimagined through Gap’s quintessential silhouettes to appeal to Gen Z and Millennial shoppers.
The collection expands on familiar silhouettes with softer, more playful detailing. Expect romantic prints across pyjamas, a pink-led colour palette inspired by Summer Fridays’ signature shades, and elevated loungewear designed for everyday wear. New additions include matching CashSoft waffle sets in multiple colourways, a pink oversized hoodie and jogger set, and a white soft logo jumper.
As with Part 1, the campaign stars Euphoria actor and model Barbie Ferreira, appealing to Gen Z and Millennial shoppers.
This collaboration also lands at a pivotal moment in Gap’s wider retail resurgence. The brand is re-establishing its physical footprint in the UK with new standalone stores in Covent Garden, White City and Wembley, operated through its joint venture with NEXT Plc.
