In Pictures: Flora and Fauna transform store fronts in celebration of Chelsea Flower Show
Each year, The King's Road and its surrounding streets undergo a floral transformation in celebration of the art show Chelsea in Bloom, which is running from 22-27 May.
The show, which is London’s largest flower festival, sees immersive floral art installations transform the neighbourhood of Chelsea. Each year, the Royal Horticultural Society picks a theme, this one being "Flowers on Film".
Passersby can expect to see flowers bring to life characters and storylines that have graced the big screen.
Jewellery retailers, from luxury Tiffany&Co. to affordable Monica Vinader, showcased their interpretation of this year's theme. In addition, fashion brands including Hugo Boss, Rag & Bone and many more joined in on the celebrations.

As expected, Tiffany&Co. and Cartier's bespoke floral exteriors did not disappoint. Though the films the flower displays reference aren't obvious at first glance, the over-the-top spectacle and abundance of florals are no less mesmerising. Jewellery brand Monica Vinader also got involved in the floral fun via a whimsical store display that references an enchanted forest.
- Hugo Boss
- Ralph Lauren
Greeting shoppers directly outside of the Sloane Square tube station, Hugo Boss presents a glamourous take on this year's theme, channeling Marylin Munroe's air vent moment from the film The Seven Year Itch. Just down the street, Ralph Lauren stays on brand with a preppy, barn-themed display featuring pops of colours that juxtapose a woody and rustic store exterior.
- Free People
- Rag & Bone
Free People started off the week in collaboration with artist Rose England, gifting store visitors with exclusive floral prints. The boho brand kept the floral arrangements subtle with pastel-coloured wild flowers that adorned the windows. Rag & Bone opted for an enchanting floralscape in the shape of an arch, greeting customers on entry.

- Cassandra Goad
Footwear designer Di Minno transformed its store windows with wild flowers that coordinated with the colourful sandals and pumps. Meanwhile, Cassandra Goad kept things simple with a rose frame, nodding to 'La Vie En Rose', which adorned its storefront.
