In Pictures: Barbour and Farm Rio collaboration returns for a second season
Barbour has today launched its second collection with Farm Rio, blending the British brand’s heritage clothing legacy with the Brazilian label’s vibrant, tropical aesthetic.
The two brands first came together in September 2025 for an inaugural partnership, which it described as “one of the most exciting launches of AW25 and a fresh way to look at countryside dressing”.
The new spring/summer collection spans outerwear, ready-to-wear and accessories, and reflects the shared passion both brands have for nature, craftsmanship and expressive design.
Classic wildflowers from the British countryside, such as daisies and cornflowers, are reinterpreted by Farm Rio through hand-painted prints, while outerwear pieces feature Barbour’s signature shorter silhouettes and are elevated with embroidery and the collaboration’s logo patch.
Ready-to-wear pieces draw from FARM Rio’s most-loved dress shapes, placing a more feminine lens on traditional items such as quilted jackets and trench coats. Accessories, including the dog coat and welly boots, are also updated with FARM Rio artwork.

Farm Rio was launched in 1997 and focuses on vibrant prints and a colourful aesthetic. Under the creative direction of co-founder Kátia Barros, the brand’s designs are inspired by Brazil’s landscapes, colours, culture and traditions.
The Barbour x Farm Rio SS26 collection is available in both brands’ locations across the UK, EU, and US - and for the first time it will also be arriving in Brazil, at CASA FARM and Rosewood São Paulo.

The accompanying campaign celebrates landmarks from both the UK and Brazil, bringing together Rio’s iconic postcard landscapes with “playful” flowers, birds and butterflies native to the British countryside, illustrated by London-based artist Carolyn Jenkins.
In May last year, Farm Rio opened a 2,034 sq ft flagship store on London’s Carnaby Street, swiftly followed by an exclusive pop-up in Selfridges. It opened its first UK store at 86 King’s Road in Chelsea in January 2024, and its second at 26 Marylebone High Street in November.
