In Pictures: Alexandra Miro unveils first pop-up store in London’s Notting Hill
London-based designer Alexandra Miro, who specialises in luxury swimwear and resort wear, including dresses, has opened a new 430 sq ft pop-up store at 85 Ledbury Road in London’s Notting Hill, set to run until 19 July 2026.
The residency is the designer’s first-ever pop-up and “marks a significant evolution in the brand’s physical retail experience”, aligning with a growing industry shift toward experiential, design-led pop-up environments.

The pop-up is in collaboration with Studio Nahorniak, a multidisciplinary design studio dedicated to innovative and sustainable design, which has designed the space with Alexandra Miro to move beyond the traditional retail model, presenting instead a “fully immersive architectural concept”.
At the heart of the project is the concept of ‘Feminine Monumentality’, expressed through intersecting planes, softened curves and sculptural apertures that extend from the storefront through the depth of the interior.

The pop-up centres on two defining signatures of the brand: black-and-white polka dot and lace. Polka dots feature across bikinis and sculpted one-pieces, while lace introduces a “more sensual and refined layer” through dresses, skirts and fluid resort silhouettes. The dialogue between the two creates a wardrobe that “feels both iconic and quietly subversive”.
This is complemented by new-season prints from the designer’s ‘Solaris’ collection, “bringing a more sun-drenched, expressive energy”, alongside an exclusive preview of the ‘May’ collection.
Price points sit within the contemporary luxury space. Swimwear ranges from approximately £90 to £160 for bikini separates, with one-pieces at around £250 to £275. Ready-to-wear, including lace pieces and dresses, spans from around £400 to £680, depending on fabrication and complexity.
The pop-up will also be anchored by a series of in-store events, including a private preview of the new high-summer collection at the start of June. Alexandra Miro’s most valued in-store clients will be invited to experience the collection ahead of launch, with the opportunity to purchase pieces before they are released online.
"Ledbury Road in Notting Hill felt like a natural choice for the brand. It has a distinctly international yet intimate character, with a considered mix of fashion, culture and community that aligns closely with our customer. There is an ease to the area, but also a strong visual identity, which mirrors the balance within the collections themselves," Miro told TheIndustry.fashion.
"The timing felt equally instinctive. After nearly a decade of building the brand globally, this marks a moment to create a physical space that brings the world of Alexandra Miro into focus in a more immersive way. A first pop up allows us to connect directly with our customer, and to translate the brand beyond product into environment and experience.
"The space is structured yet soft, with sculptural forms, curved lines and considered volumes that echo the codes of the brand. It moves away from a traditional retail setting and instead creates something more immersive, where the collection sits within a defined visual and emotional world."
Founded in London in 2016 by Alexandra Miro, the brand has grown “through a considered and international lens”, shaped by a clear point of view on modern resort wear.
Its retail presence remains “intentionally focused”, with an emphasis on long-term partnerships rather than broad wholesale distribution.
While there is no current UK wholesale presence, the brand has developed strong relationships with key global retailers, including Mytheresa, alongside select partners across Europe and Dubai.
That approach allows for “a more controlled and elevated presentation” of the collections, ensuring they are experienced within the right context and resonate with a discerning, global customer.
