HURR teams up with Deliveroo to deliver dresses in just 20 minutes

HURR, the circular fashion platform, has teamed up with Deliveroo to offer a luxury fashion rental service that will deliver party dresses to customers in London in as little as 20 minutes.

The service has been launched just in time for the festive party season allowing Deliveroo users to rent pre-loved high-end fashion pieces from HURR’s selection, directly through the Deliveroo app.

Deliveroo customers within Central London will be able to browse through a curated selection of more than 50 luxury and premium dresses from brands including 16 Arlington, Santa Brands, Self-Portrait, Nadine Merabi and Rixo.

Currently, HURR customers receive their rentals through its 24-hour overnight delivery service, but those using Deliveroo could cut this to just 20 minutes. Customers will receive a returns label and easy instructions when their item is delivered, making the process as easy as possible.

HURR founder Victoria Prew said of the new initiative: We’re thrilled to be launching on-demand fashion rental in partnership with Deliveroo this festive season. You can select and rent your dresses from HURR to your door faster than ever before, in as little as 20 minutes. Customer experience is at the heart of HURR and this unique partnership will deliver your last minute or planned party wear looks to your door faster than fast fashion itself.”

The move marks another milestone for Deliveroo, which is typically associated with take-out food and grocery deliveries. It has been venturing into non-food categories of late, adding brands and retailers such as B&Q, Wilko, Ann Summers, and The Perfume Shop. This offers customers the convenience of shopping for everything from fashion and homeware to toys, flowers, baby essentials, cosmetics, and gifts—all through one app.

Deliveroo Chief Operating Officer Eric French commented: “At Deliveroo we’re always looking to break new ground and our exciting partnership with HURR is no different. It is an industry first for the rental fashion market, and will make high-end fashion even more accessible and bring a new level of luxury and convenience to our customers. This marks our first step into the fashion space, and we’re excited to welcome more partners to Deliveroo Shopping as we continue expanding the variety for our customers.”
