House of Sunny launches ‘Sunny’s Gift Shop’ pop-up in Hackney
House of Sunny has officially stepped into the festive season with the launch of 'Sunny’s Gift Shop', a nostalgic Christmas takeover of its Hackney flagship running now until Christmas Eve.
The East London label, known for its playful aesthetic, has transformed its canal-side store into a joy-filled tribute to childhood Christmases. Locals may have already noticed the giant red bow now wrapped around the building, signalling the immersive festive experience inside.
Stepping through the doors, visitors find themselves in a space designed to evoke the excitement, cosiness and charm of Christmases past. The store is dressed with vintage equestrian photographs, an old-school television playing Home Alone on VHS and a working model train set weaving through displays. Nestled among the nostalgic tableaux are the brand’s signature knits and bestselling pieces.
Founder Sunny Williams told TheIndustry.fashion: "Christmas has always held this magical mix of nostalgia and joy. The feeling that every corner could hold a tiny surprise.
"With Sunny’s Gift Shop, we decided to bring that sense of wonder into our east London home. We wanted to fill the space with memories, charm and true craftsmanship. Somewhere you can rediscover the fun of gifting and share the small moments that make the season so special."
For the first time, the brand is also offering a curated selection of exclusive gifts from independent makers, expanding beyond its own ready-to-wear collection. The edit includes hand-poured candles from Nata Concept, glittering clips from Feo London, glossy polishes from Shoreditch Nails, playful scrunchies from Doodle Buz and hand-crocheted dog charms by TMG.
Visitors to the pop-up can also enjoy a series of festive extras, such as entering to win up to £300 in House of Sunny gift cards by posting a letter to Santa via the in-store post box. Shoppers spending £150 receive a complimentary gift of their choice, while limited-edition bundles are available only at the pop-up.
To complete the experience, the brand is offering a gift-wrapping service, ensuring every item leaves the store ready to be placed straight under the tree.
Sunny’s Gift Shop is open daily at G4 Northside Studios on Andrews Road in Hackney - just look for the oversized red bow.
