H&M's "enhanced" store is coming to Belfast next week
H&M is set to reopen its doors in Belfast next week. This time, the retailer is opening on Castle Street, showcasing a new, modernised interior that incorporates fresh technology.
The new store, which will open at 10 am on 25 July, will offer womenswear, menswear, kidswear and accessories.
The 2,228 sqm space will also focus on a seamless omni-channel experience, fitted with new services including self-checkouts.
Klas Degeryd, Head of Expansion at H&M UK & Ireland, said: "We are delighted to be enhancing our presence in Belfast. New omni-channel services will offer customers more convenience, while an elevated interior design will enable them to shop our latest fashion collections and styles in a more curated and inspirational way."
To celebrate the grand opening, the first 100 customers in the queue on opening day will receive a complimentary gift with their purchase. H&M Members will also enjoy an exclusive 20% discount on their in-store purchases.
Brian Kidd, from letting agents Frazer Kidd, said: "It is fantastic that this once derelict building has been transformed by local property company Alterity Investments into Belfast city centre’s largest retail redevelopment project since Victoria Square. It is especially exciting to have one of Europe’s largest fashion brands, H&M, choose the Keep for a flagship store."
With sustainability at the heart of its business model, H&M says it "continues to lead the transition to circular, climate positive fashion and homeware", values which will be "built into the foundation of the new store".
The news follows a number of recent openings for H&M, including a new store in Nottingham last month and the launch of its "elevated" concept store at 72 King's Road in London’s Chelsea earlier this year.
