H&M is set to open its first new UK outlet store in Staffordshire, West Midlands next month.

The Swedish fashion retailer will open a 7,000 sq ft store at Affinity Staffordshire, offering customers a fresh way to experience the brand. The outlet store will also offer H&M's Garment Collection and Recycling service, allowing customers to donate unwanted clothes and textiles in store in exchange for digital vouchers.

H&M UK and Ireland country manager Toni Galli said: “We always strive to offer our customers a meaningful shopping experience where style, creativity and culture are celebrated, and we are confident that our new Staffordshire store will offer our customers exactly this.”

Rachel Scott, Asset Manager at Global Mutual, which manages Affinity Staffordshire, added: "Welcoming a big name like H&M is the perfect way to kickstart 2022. We know that our loyal shoppers from across the region will welcome the new store with open arms and we can't wait to see the doors open.

"It really is a pivotal new letting for us and we are thrilled that H&M selected Affinity Staffordshire as the ideal location for its exciting outlet venture – picking Staffordshire for this UK first."

Last month, New Look opened its first-ever UK outlet store at The Boulevard outlet centre in Northern Ireland.
