H&M teams up with actor John Boyega for new sustainable menswear collection

H&M has announced its new sustainable menswear collection with British-Nigerian Actor, John Boyega, titled 'Edition'.

Launching on October 28, the collection will include autumn looks constructed from recycled, organic and innovative materials, such as Vegea - a vegan alternative to leather.

John Boyega, commented: "I'm excited to collaborate with H&M on a collection that aligns my passions with purpose. Sustainability to me, means thinking about longevity for the benefit of those coming after us. This collaboration has already birthed opportunities for fresh dynamic creatives."

Edition by John Boyega blends workwear pieces with floral prints and tie-dye patterns, for menswear including shirts, trousers, t-shirts and a swearshirt. The collection's products also aligns with H&M's move towards a more sustainable future.

Described by H&M, Golden Globe winner John Boyega is best known for his role as Finn in the Star Wars sequel trilogy films and has earned recognition for his acting, but also for standing up for the changes he wants to see in the world, such as the Black Lives Matter movement.
