H&M Move signs footballer Nadia Nadim

H&M has signed professional football player Nadia Nadim to represent its 'H&M Move' activewear line.

H&M Move launched in August 2022, aiming to make "functional and technically innovative workout clothes more accessible". The range features menswear, womenswear and kidswear including tops, lightweight jackets, tracksuits, tights, and bras.

Nadim currently a plays professional football for Racing Louisville FC in the US National Women's Soccer League. She has also represented Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain, where she won the league titles.

In her first appearance for H&M Move, Nadim joined Swedish footballer Zlatan Ibrahimović for a "fierce but fun" competition. They both appear in the line's new seamless collection “with body enhancing structures for a more powerful touch”.

Commenting on the news, Nadia Nadim said: "I want to help inspire kids to want to play, especially young girls. That’s why I signed for H&M Move as I personally believe in their mission."

Diana Amini, leader of the H&M Move Community Programme, added: ‘We are excited to welcome Nadia on our mission to showcase the many benefits movement brings as an individual, community or team. Movement, has the ability to unite people and communities as well as creating the opportunity for unexpected connections and collaborations, such as Zlatan and Nadia joining forces."
