Hermès exceeds €16bn in revenue for first time with 'confidence' for 2026
Hermès has exceeded the €16 billion (£13.9 billion) revenue mark for the first time. The luxury giant reported consolidated sales of €16 billion (£13.9 billion) for 2025, up 9% at constant exchange rates and up 5.5% at current exchange rates.
Recurring operating income increased by 7% to €6.6 billion (£5.7 billion), representing 41% of sales, compared with 40.5% in 2024. Net profit reached €4.5 billion (£3.9 billion).
In the fourth quarter alone, sales totalled €4.1 billion (£3.5 billion), up 10% at constant exchange rates, matching the previous quarter’s pace. Growth was solid across all regions, with Europe, Japan, the Americas and the Middle East each delivering double-digit increases against a high comparison base.
Axel Dumas, Executive Chairman of Hermès, said: "The Hermès model based on an exclusive and qualitative network, as well as strong vertical integration, has once again proven successful. This distinctive strategy has enabled the house to achieve robust revenue growth and strong performance.
"I warmly thank the Hermès teams who share our commitment to uncompromising quality as well as our customers for their loyalty. In an uncertain environment, Hermès is moving into 2026 with confidence, underpinned by its creativity and exceptional savoir-faire."
In terms of categories, Leather Goods and Saddlery increased by 13%, supported by sustained demand and expanded production capacity. The house inaugurated its twenty-fourth leather goods workshop in L’Isle-d’Espagnac in September and confirmed further openings planned through to 2030.
Ready-to-wear and Accessories rose by 6% meanwhile Silk and Textiles grew by 5%.
However, Perfume and Beauty declined by 8% and Watches fell by 2%. Other sectors, including Jewellery and Home, increased by 11%.
Despite ongoing economic and geopolitical uncertainty, Hermès said it confirms an "ambitious goal for revenue growth at constant exchange rates".
