Havaianas appoints international president to drive global growth

Alpargatas Company, the global leader in open footwear, has announced the appointment of Frederic Levy as the President Havaianas International.

Levy will be responsible for all markets outside of Brazil in a new position created to accelerate the global expansion of Havaianas. He will be based in Spain reporting directly to Roberto Funari, CEO at Alpargatas.

He joins from Coravin, an innovative start-up where, as the CEO, he turned a game-changing product into a must-have brand for wine lovers sold in 60 countries.

Before Coravin, as President Nespresso North America, he drove triple-digit growth by opening the first 30 Nespresso boutique in the US, developing product innovations, and building multi-channel media campaigns. Prior to that, as the head of Digital for Nespresso, he launched Nespresso.com e-commerce website.
