Harvey Nichols unveils Christmas window displays

Luxury retailer Harvey Nichols has unveiled its 2020 Christmas window display, focusing on a simple message adored with star motifs, reading "Bam Humbug".

Designed to help spread much-needed cheer during the festive period, the iconic Knightsbridge windows feature a pared-back colour scheme in shimmering mirror and silver, highlighting uplifting messages written in bright lights.

The window is more toned down than last years Scandinavian-inspired scene, which were showcased through animations of the Northern lights and forest-like displays.

Radiating bars of silver and platinum, combined with warm white lights, one window looks positively to the future, simply stating "BRING ON 2021".

Janet Wardley, Head of Visual Display at Harvey Nichols, said: “2020 has been a year unlike any other. We’ve come up with a concept that looks forward to the New Year, whilst also reflecting the sentiment that many of us are feeling at present. All done with Harvey Nichols’ sense of humour that we hope will raise a smile in passers-by.”
