Harvey Nichols launches NFT contest for UK and Hong Kong customers
Department store Harvey Nichols has launched a contest for its UK and Hong-Kong based customers to win one NFT "clone" from the Los Angeles-based RTFKT Studios series called Clone X, which is described as "a series of 20,000 quality-focused, high-end avatars".
Customers have the opportunity to take part in a contest which launched on 27 November and stops at 11:59pm 4 December in two ways.
The first is by taking a picture with or of a clone "matching your DNA type" in a Harvey Nichols store (in Knightsbridge they will be located in the Menswear section) and then posting this photo publicly on Instagram or Twitter tagging @RTFKTstudios, @harveynicholshk, @harveynichols and also "hashtagging the DNA type (e.g. #TypeReptile or #TypeRobot or #TypeHuman)".
The NFT contest can also be entered by shopping online or in-store in Hong Kong or the UK, then signing up to a "giveaway" form to show proof of purchase and answering the question: “What future utility/use-case would you most like to see from your Clone (e.g. integration into games, access to future NFT drops, acting as a membership card for exclusive events, etc.)”.
The contestants entries will be judged by Harvey Nichols internally based on the creativity of the content "involving the clones".
