Harvey Nichols is cementing its position as a key destination for beauty and wellness with the launch of an exclusive hair salon at its flagship Knightsbridge store, in partnership with the renowned styling and colour studio Jo Hansford London.
Officially opening in November, the new salon will be located on the Knightsbridge store’s dedicated beauty floor and will offer a full range of haircare and beauty services from Jo Hansford MBE and her team of experts.
Its development comes after a period of detailed consideration of the needs and expectations of the Harvey Nichols customer, chief executive officer Manju Malhotra said.
“The last year has given us the opportunity to carefully consider our customers,” Malhotra added.
“The Jo Hansford approach, which is to offer clients beautiful, glamorous, and wearable hair in a luxury salon environment, feels perfectly aligned with our customers.
“Both businesses are renowned for delivering outstanding customer service and bringing the two together presents a fantastic opportunity.”
The salon will be the second for the Jo Hansford brand, which has been operating in Mayfair for over two decades with the support of its loyal client base, which includes a number of celebrities such as Angelina Jolie, Elizabeth Hurley and The Duchess of Cornwall.
Hansford, who was awarded an MBE for outstanding service to the hairdressing industry in 2010, is widely-recognised as one of the UK’s most innovative stylists and colour technicians.
The business, which now employs a team of more than 50 people, is overseen by Hansford’s daughter and managing director Joanna Hansford.
