Following the Prime Minister’s announcement detailing the UK’s roadmap out of lockdown, the organisers of Harrogate Fashion Week (HFW) have announced that the show will take place on 1-2 August 2021 at the Harrogate Convention Centre.

All COVID-19 restrictions are scheduled to be lifted from 21 June, 2021, meaning major events will be able to take place once again following over a year of cancelled shows.

HFW Director Wendy Adams, said: “We are delighted to confirm that Harrogate Fashion Week will be going ahead this August after such a disappointing 2020, and we are looking to ensure the event celebrates the endurance of the fashion industry.”

After an unprecedented year, HFW 2021 will allow independents and brands to re-unite in the popular event town of Harrogate, and “will be a testament to the resolve of boutique owners, suppliers, and fashion businesses throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

HFW Director Sarah Moody, added: “It’s expected to be a busy selling season and many brands have already reserved their stands in the excitement of getting back to face-to-face selling. We have had many new contemporary collections along with more special occasion, promwear and shoe brand enquiries than ever before, so we definitely see a growth in these areas.”

The August show will see returning brands including womenswear labels Marble, Pomodoro, John Charles, Lily & Me, Foil, Focus, Lizabella, Gabriela Sanchez. In addition, footwear brands already confirmed include Legero, Caprice and Lotus.
