Harrods names TUI Finance Director as new CFO
Harrods has appointed Geoff Weaver as its new Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately. The move signals a continued focus on strategic investment and digital evolution for the luxury retail giant.
Weaver brings over 20 years of financial leadership experience to the role, having most recently served as Finance Director for TUI Markets & Airlines at TUI Group, where he has held a number of senior finance roles since 2011. His earlier career included six years at KPMG, working within the audit function - experience that has shaped his broad financial and commercial expertise across complex, global operations.

As Harrods positions itself for its next phase of growth, Managing Director Michael Ward underscores Weaver’s "pivotal" role in its transformation: "As we continue to invest in our transformation and future growth, I am delighted to welcome Geoff to Harrods.
"His commercial acumen, digital expertise, and people-first leadership will be instrumental as we continue to evolve our business and reinforce our authority in luxury across all categories and channels."
Weaver succeeds Tim Parker, who had held the CFO post since 2022 and stepped down in May to pursue "other opportunities".
It comes in the wake of a cyberattack against Harrods. Last month, the luxury department store was targeted by cyber hackers, following a similar incident involving Marks & Spencer.
At the time, a spokesperson for Harrods said: "We recently experienced attempts to gain unauthorised access to some of our systems. Our seasoned IT security team immediately took proactive steps to keep systems safe, and as a result, we have restricted internet access at our sites today.
"Currently, all sites, including our Knightsbridge store, H beauty stores and airport stores remain open to welcome customers. Customers can also continue to shop via harrods.com.
"We are not asking our customers to do anything differently at this point, and we will continue to provide updates as necessary."
