Harris Reed steps down at Nina Ricci to focus on namesake brand
Harris Reed has left his role as Creative Director of Nina Ricci after three and a half years and will be turning his full attention to his namesake brand. His replacement has not yet been named.
Reed's final show for the fashion brand took place less than one week ago during Paris Fashion Week autumn/winter 2026, inspired by Marie Antoinette going to Glastonbury.
The designer took the helm of the French fashion house Nina Ricci in 2022, designing collections alongside his own label, which he launched in 2019.
Harris Reed is best known for his genderfluid designs and for dressing Harry Styles for Vogue’s first-ever male cover.
“I am leaving Nina Ricci with a heart full of gratitude and a profound appreciation for all that my time there has given me,” Reed shared in a statement on Instagram.
“My deepest thanks go to Puig and to the entire Nina Ricci team. Truly, to step into a heritage house that not only welcomed, but actively championed my imagination, has been an honor beyond words.”

“When I first arrived at Nina Ricci, I was 26 years old, not long graduated, single, and finding my footing while learning how to stand confidently with an unconventional voice,” Reed added.
“Today, I leave having learned and grown so much, and I am so excited to enter this next chapter of my life with my husband (and dog) beside me, in a home that I love, ready to take my own company into its next chapter. Thank you to every single person that has helped me and been part of this journey."
Nina Ricci commented on Reed's Instagram post: "Thank you Harris Reed for three remarkable years of bold creativity and joy."
In an official statement Nina Ricci President, Ana Trias Arraut, said: "All of us at Nina Ricci and Puig would like to extend our warmest thanks to Harris Reed, who, since his arrival, has brought a breath of fresh air as well as an inspiring and inclusive perspective and exceptional creativity. Harris has written a beautiful chapter in the history of Nina Ricci."
