Harris Reed launches limited edition "Deadstock Blouse" collection

21 July 2020

Gender fluid designer Harris Reed will be launching a limited edition capsule entitled the "Deadstock Blouse Collection" today.

The limited edition collection uses fabrics and finishing threads which are leftovers from previous collaborations with artists, musicians and editorials - including everything down to the pins and needles.

The blouses feature sequins, lamé and silks, without any of these materials being purchased or wasted in the design process.

The collection is hand made and inspired by Harris and a handful of his close friends. The styles are designed as one size fits many- meaning they can be worn in a variation of ways; mini dresses, oversized or as a separate.

The imagery from the collection was inspired by the idea of old Andy Warhol polaroids.

Harris Reed said: “As with everything I do, it is all about making clothing that makes people stop and stare and evaluate how hey perceive themselves, and others around them. This one-of-a kind collection was about escapism really following on the narrative of my last collection Thriving in Our Outrage.”

The "Deadstock Blouse Collection" will launch today at 12pm BST and prices will start from £585, available exclusively from www.harrisreed.com
